How the two editions compare

The jump between Chapter One's 2024 minimum spec and the 2026 full release's minimum spec is smaller than the four-year gap between them might suggest, but it moves in an unusual direction: the full release actually asks for less memory at the minimum tier (6 GB versus the prologue's 8 GB) while raising the processor bar from a 4th-generation Intel Core i5 to a Core i3-6100, and it drops the OS floor from Windows 7 up to a specific Windows 10 build (21H1, build 19043 or newer).
